The Artemas Ward Sycamore- The Veron Company is proud of the 20 year relationship it has maintained with the Artemas Ward Museum, owned and operated by Harvard University. Ward, the first Commander in Chief of the American Revolution before General George Washington, planted rows of Sycamore trees in honor of our great ally, the French Marquis de Lafayette, before he set forth on his journey down the Boston Post Road to meet and join forces with General Washington. The giant Sycamore tree that stands on this historic property today is a perfect representation of how our company utilizes both technical expertise and passion for taking care of our local landscapes in order to meet the highest industry standards.

Over the years, our arborists have cared for this beloved landmark in a variety of ways. Our team has devised a comprehensive plan, which includes cabling, bracing, iron support beams, preventative pruning, fertilization, and pest protection, in order to preserve the health and extend the life of a tree that is a symbol of the birth of our nation.
